Herrlie Andresen

She was born on 6 February 1887 at Marienkoog and crossed to New York as a baby on the steamer Lessing in 1888. Her American records give Iowa as her birthplace, while a family letter reports Flensburg, Germany, so the birthplace is disputed. She died at Oakland Hospital in California on 26 November 1958, after about 42 years in the state.
