Hendrik Jans Pyl

Hendrik Jans Pyl is listed on the Dutch government's 1848 emigrant list as Hendrik Piel, leaving from Beilen in Drenthe. He probably sailed on the Scandia, which reached New York in late May 1848; this is likely but not confirmed. He married in Zeeland, Michigan, on 14 July 1850.
